RTÉ has announced that The Tommy Tiernan Show will return to RTÉ One on Saturday 6 January.
A promo for the new season was published on social media earlier today, which shows comedian Tiernan with some of his guests from previous seasons, including Dara Ó Briain and Roy Keane.
The promo emphasised the spontaneous nature of the show, as Tiernan does not know who his guests are beforehand.

This will be the eighth season of the popular chat show.
