Tipperary comedy duo and 2fm presenters The 2 Johnnies have announced an "all ages" show for next year.

The stage show will take place at TUS Gaelic Grounds, Limerick on Sunday 1 September 2024.

It will welcome fans of all ages, allowing the podcasters' younger fans the chance to see them live for the first time in five years.

Of the family friendly show, Johnny B said: "We can't wait to Drive it, Drive it, Drive it for all the young lads, young ones and not-so-young ones and bring all the madness and mayhem of the big shows to Limerick for the afternoon."

The Junior B All Stars will join them on stage to perform their hit songs, including When I Play for the County, Silage Song and Sinéad.

The pair performed their mix of music and comedy to a sell-out 3Arena on Saturday, during which Johnny Smacks was injured during a guitar smashing stunt.

He finished the show but later went to A&E, where he learned he had broken several bones in his hand.

Tickets for the show will go on sale this Wednesday 20 December via Ticketmaster.

You can hear The 2 Johnnies on 2fm Monday to Friday 3pm-6pm.
