The first teaser for Eddie Murphy's return as his iconic Beverly Hills Cop character Axel Foley has been released ahead of the fourth instalment's arrival on Netflix next year.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F reunites Murphy with his Beverly Hills Cop co-stars John Ashton (Sergeant John Taggart), Bronson Pinchot (Serge), Judge Reinhold (Detective Billy Rosewood), and Paul Reiser (Jeffrey Friedman) and is due on the streamer next summer.
Joining the franchise for the fourth movie are Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Taylour Paige, and Kevin Bacon.
Releasing the teaser for Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, Netflix said: "Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back on the beat in Beverly Hills.
"After his daughter's life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy."

Australian director Mark Molloy is making his feature directing debut with Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F after a series of acclaimed shorts.
Murphy, who previously played the wisecracking detective in the 1984 comedy classic, the 1987 hit sequel, and 1994's poorly received third film in the series, is among the producers on the new movie.
His fellow producer Jerry Bruckheimer said: "Eddie's such an incredible artist. He can do drama, he can do comedy – he can do anything. And he's the same Axel Foley.
"He's still on the streets. He's still doing what he does. Obviously, with age, you get wiser. But he still has the twinkle in his eye."
