Charles gets Chas to open up about her loneliness and the effect Aaron's behaviour is having on her. After Aaron has an altercation with Chas, a seething Charles orders Aaron to show his mother respect. But when Aaron goads him, a scuffle ensues.
Aaron entices Ethan into Mill, seizing a chance to get in with Charles' son. However, Aaron soon crosses the line when he humiliates Ethan in front of his dad.
Elsewhere Charity and Mack have a row and he storms out, saying he won't be back for a while. Soon, Mack gets himself into trouble, unresponsive and bound to a chair in an abandoned factory. Later, inside the dark, gloomy factory, there's no sign of Mack, just the chair he was once bound to.
Meanwhile, Will is shocked when Kim confirms that she played a part in Craig's death. The next day, he is taken aback to find a drunken Kim slumped against Dawn's birthing pool. Over at the Christmas fair, Dawn's contractions start.
At Gus's house, Mary becomes increasingly concerned as it's clear he is reaching his breaking point. Rhona's jaw drops when Mary arrives home with Gus and Ivy in tow, and Marlon is equally surprised to see his new house guests. A picture perfect Christmas morning is spoiled when Marlon gets annoyed at Gus and storms off.
Christmas at Butlers is underway and it's not long before Caleb and Tracy share a charged moment alone. They get some proper alone time when everyone leaves, but it's not long before they're caught in the act.
And Belle forms a new plan to propose to Tom. She enlists Leyla to lead a blindfolded Tom onto an ice rink, and she has also recruited Torvill and Dean to help with the special moment. Belle is elated when Tom says yes.
