Carol seizes her moment to torment Rafferty in Thursday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
While James and Hayley are negotiating a business deal in The Station, Carol says to Rafferty: "You just stay there and be nice and quiet and don't ruin their big meeting."
As Rafferty's temper builds, Carol continues: "What is it he said? 'Don't jinx it'?"
"Shut your mouth, Carol!" shouts Rafferty. "Ok? Just shut it!"
As a horrified James and Hayley watch on, Carol tells Rafferty: "Right - out! Now!"
