Doireann Garrihy has announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Irish comedian Mark Mehigan.
Announcing the news on Instagram, the RTÉ 2fm Breakfast presenter posted a picture of them in the park while she showed off a diamond ring on her finger.
Along with the photo, she wrote: "The love of my life"
Garrighy and Mehigan, the host of the comedy podcast The Sunday Roast, confirmed that they were a couple at the end of last year.
Garrihy's fellow 2fm Breakfast host Carl Mullan was among those congratulating the happy couple on their news, writing: "The BEST news. Massive congrats", while 2fm presenter Emma Power commented: "Aww congratulations to you both."
TV presenter Kathryn Thomas also replied on Instagram, saying: "Ahhhh amazing news guys!!!!!!! Humongous congratulations."
Model Rosanna Davison responded: "Amazing news! Congratulations!!"
Actress and writer Amy Huberman wrote: "CONGRATULATIONS that's gorgeous news!"
Garrihy's Dancing with the Stars co-host Jennifer Zamparelli commented: "Ah would ya stop!!! Gorgeous news. Congrats to you and Mark"
