Christy Moore announces fundraising gig for Gaza

Folk singer Christy Moore has announced a fundraising gig in aid of Médecins Sans Frontières' emergency regional fund for Gaza.

The gig will take place on 16 February 2024 in Dublin's Vicar Street and will be in memory of Mahmoud Abu Nujaile, Ahmad Al Sahar and Ziao Al-Tatari, three doctors who died last week in the strike on Al Awda Hospital in Gaza.

Proceeds from the gig will will support Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders' emergency response in Gaza, which aims to quickly mobilise medical teams and equipment to provide people affected with urgent life-saving medical care.

Tickets will go on sale Friday 1 December at 10am from Ticketmaster.
