Michael Fassbender can be seen in his first movie role this decade as an assassin in David Fincher's new thriller The Killer.
With the tagline "execution is everything", the synopsis for the new film reads, "After a fateful near miss, an assassin battles his employers and himself on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal."
Directed by David Fincher, who has previously made Se7en, Fight Club and The Social Network, The Killer also stars Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte and Tilda Swinton and is now playing in select cinemas and on Netflix from 10 November.
The film is based on the graphic novel series of the same name written by Alexis Nolent aka Matz.
