According to US publication Variety, Paramount Pictures has moved the release date for the action movie from 28 June, 2024 to 23 May, 2025.

Like a host of other blockbuster films, the eighth iteration of Tom Cruise's hit action spy movies was forced to halt production amid the Screen Actors Guild strike and won't be completed in time to open next summer.
Other major releases such as Gladiator 2 and Ghostbusters: Afterlife 2 have already been delayed by the strike, with others sure to follow if the actor's union and studios don't resolve their contract negotiations soon.
