The third film in the Paddington franchise is due for release on 8 November 2024, it has been confirmed.
The series' first two films - Paddington and Paddington 2 - were released in 2014 and 2017 respectively, with both receiving critical acclaim.
The third installment of the series is called Paddington in Peru, and brings Paddington's story to the South American country as he returns to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears.
With the Brown Family in tow, adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and to the mountain peaks of Peru.

The film was shot in London, Peru and Colombia and stars Hugh Bonneville, Emily Mortimer, Antonio Banderas, Olivia Colman, Julie Walters, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin and Jim Broadbent.
Both Ben Whishaw and Imelda Staunton return as the respective voices of Paddington and Aunt Lucy.

Also joining the cast is newcomer and Spanish actress Carla Tous in the role of Gina Cabot. Rachel Zegler was previously announced for the part, but was unable to carry out the role due to the Sag-Aftra strike.
The Paddington films are based on the children's stories of British author Michael Bond, which were first published in 1958.
