Trailer for Brian Cox's Bond-themed show is released

The first trailer for Brian Cox's James Bond-themed reality show has been unveiled and shows the nine pairs of ordinary people who will compete to win a grand prize of £1 million (€1.146 million).

The new adventure series titled 007: Road To A Million comes from the producers of the James Bond film franchise and is set to debut on Prime Video next month.

Succession actor Cox stars as The Controller, the on-screen mastermind who monitors the contestants' quests, dictates where they go and what challenges they face.

In the full series trailer, fans get a glimpse of what's to come on the show and the eighteen contestants who are taking part.

The nine pairs, all from different walks of life, include emergency nurses, retired police officers, radio presenters and a married couple on a journey of travel and adventure.

Cox previously said of his role as The Controller: "I got to see how ordinary people would cope with being on a James Bond adventure.

"As they travel the world to some of the most iconic Bond locations, it gets more intense and nail-biting.

"I enjoyed my role as both villain and tormentor, with licence to put the hopeful participants through the mangle."

007: Road To A Million will launch on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories on 10 November.
