Meryl Streep and her husband Don Gummer have been separated for more than six years.
In a statement to the New York Post's Page Six, a spokesperson for triple Oscar winner Streep said: "Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than six years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart."
Streep and sculptor Gummer married in 1978 and have four adult children.
It is reported that Streep and Gummer's last public appearance together was at the Academy Awards in March 2018.
Streep can currently be seen in season three of the whodunnit series Only Murders in the Building.
