Take That have announced three outdoor gigs in Ireland as part of their 2024 European tour.

The band - who now perform as a trio of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald - will play Cork's Musgrave Park on 20 June, Dublin's Malahide Castle on 21 June and the Belsonic Festival in Belfast's Ormeau Park on 22 June.

The 19-date tour, which is titled This Life Under The Stars, will then moves onto Germany, Denmark, Hungary, Switzerland, Italy and Spain, with the final gig taking place in Porto, Portugal. Olly Murs will be the support act.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Thursday 19 October from Ticketmaster and registration for pre-sale tickets is open now.

The band are also releasing their ninth studio album, This Life, on 24 November, and have recently released Windows, their first original single in five years.

Formed as a five-piece in 1989, Take That enjoyed immediate chart success. Their third album Nobody Else sold over six million copies and topped the charts in 11 countries.

The departure of band member Robbie Williams prompted a break-up in 1996 before the remaining four members reunited for 2005's The Ultimate Tour.

The new line-up went on to to release three UK number one albums in four years before Williams returned for the Progress album and tour in 2011. Progress became the fastest-selling UK album of the 21st century and fastest-selling tour of all time.

Jason Orange and Williams later departed the group.

The band last played in Ireland during their European stadium and arena tour in 2019.
