The band say Stone Driver discusses the topic of alcohol dependence, "the lies you tell yourself, and what it feels like to try to not drink when you know you shouldn't".
Griffin adds: "Stone Driver was written as a sort of ode to addiction - when you're aware you have an alcohol dependency, but you’re really trying not to drink.
"The whole track, to me, encapsulates the problems Ireland has with alcohol, and how it’s not as easy to tear yourself away from it, especially when drinking is the only thing to do in so many parts of the country.
"I also wanted to make sure a bit of Limerick was in the track, hence the lyrics 'I walk these bridges/two steps at a time’ and so on."
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
Aaron: I have way too many shoes, I'm a big rugby fan, I've been playing guitar for 12 years.
How would you describe your music?
Kat: I think it’s very mixed, while its grungy and alternative, I think there’s a lot of indie and blues vibes mixed in with many of the songs.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Eoghan: Nirvana, Pixies.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
Ciara: First gig I ever went to was Macklemore & Ryan Lewis in the 3 arena, must've been 2013. 10/10 would go again.
What was the first record you ever bought?
Aaron: I bought American Idiot by Green Day and Suspect Device by Stiff Little Fingers at the same time (we think Aaron has seen the movie adaptation of High Fidelity - Ed).
What’s your favourite song right now?
Ciara: My favourite song right now is Badanan by Chase & Status.
Favourite lyric of all time?
Aaron: "At the sickbed of Cúchulainn, we'll kneel and say a prayer, but the ghosts are rattling at the door and the devil's in the chair!"
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Ciara: One song for the rest of my life is so tough, I think I'd have to say Cannonball by Damian Rice it's probably my favourite song of all time.
