Model, charity worker and influencer Roz Purcell recalled on The Late Late Show a time that she got more - or maybe less - than she bargained for while hiking in Ireland.
She was a guest on Friday's show on RTÉ One to talk about her new book, The Hike Life, which details a range of hiking spots around Ireland.
Host Patrick Kielty was clearly impressed. "This is 50 hikes around Ireland," he said. "This is a proper shift."

"I’ve been very privileged to create a book on Ireland," she told him. "We are very lucky with our outdoors here. Getting to go around and shoot - now I did have to climb the hikes, 20-30 times each to get the shot!
"It was absolutely incredible making it, and the people you meet along the way. And it’s not just hikes, there are also food stops, swim stops, really incredible places to visit.
"So when you go on a hike, there’s a full day’s itinerary afterwards as well."
Patrick then asked her did she want to be left alone when she was out hiking or was she open to making random friendships. "How does it work?" he wondered.
"It depends on the mountain," Roz replied. "You know if you’re climbing up the top of Carrantuohill and you’re in bits. Then someone comes over and says, 'You’re almost there!’ You’re like, ‘Go away!’

"But in general I actually love meeting people - especially when I’m out on my own. Because, you know, being out hiking alone, it can be nice - solitude and all that - but also, if you’re an over-thinker like me it’s nice when someone breaks that up and comes over for a chat.
"I’ve met some incredible people hiking around Ireland, that you wouldn’t get anywhere else."
That prompted Patrick Kielty to enquire about the time Roz was surprised on a hike: "You met a farmer, who wasn’t dressed in an expected way," he prompted.
"I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt," Ron reeplied. "It was a heatwave.I came to he top of the mountain in Nephin in Mayo, and he was up there in his Speedos. I said to him: ‘Fair play to you.’

"He had his two dogs with him and he said he climbed the mountain every single day.
"He had a great tan as well," she added. "And there was no tan line!"
Patrick Kielty also congratulated Roz on her engagement to long-time partner Zach Crosby.
"It was at the Cliff of Moher," she recalled. "We really wanted to get married as soon as possible, so a lot of my family members would be there."
Jason Byrne threw in a comment, saying: "The whole nation would be going, ‘Why as soon as possible?’"
Roz laughed and said, "No, no, no, no!"
"Don’t even go there," said Patrick Kielty.
"I’ll leave it at that," Roz replied.
