A new clip from Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon has been released ahead of the crime-thriller's arrival in Irish cinemas next week.
The film unites Scorsese's longtime collaborators Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro opposite rising star Lily Gladstone (Certain Women, Billions).

The synopsis says: "Based on David Grann's broadly lauded best-selling book, Killers of the Flower Moon is set in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the Reign of Terror."
With a screenplay by Eric Roth (A Star Is Born, The Insider) and Scorsese, the film also stars Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, and Jillian Dion.

AFP reports that Apple bought the film from Hollywood studio Paramount after the cost of the lavish, almost-three-and-a-half-hour production began to spiral to a reported $200 million.
The two companies struck a deal to distribute the film to cinemas ahead of its arrival on Apple TV+.

Killers of the Flower Moon opens in Irish cinemas on Friday 20 October.
