Crimecall, 9.35pm, RTÉ One

Crimecall returns for its 20th season with a new presenter, Carla O’Brien (below), and a new look.

Each month this long-running series uses reconstructions, CCTV footage and live studio appeals to look for information from the public, to help with Garda investigations.

On this week's programme the family of Dublin man Martin Lynn speaks about his death and hopes the public can help Gardaí with their investigation.

The show also covers the 37-year-old mystery of a body that washed up on the Leitrim coast in 1986. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who might recognise the detail on the body’s distinctive tattoos.

Crimecall will also hear from a man rebuilding his life after escaping from forced labour in rural Ireland.

Grá ar an Trá, 9.00pm, Virgin Media One

Singletons are put through their paces to learn Irish, find love and compete to win a €10,000 prize by being crowned 'the couple with the most focail'.

Through fun tasks, cheeky challenges and romantic rendezvous, the couples will compete for the big prize while also dusting up on their Irish.

Fact-based crime drama about the hunt for the Yorkshire Ripper, focusing on the lives of the victims who crossed his path and those of the officers at the heart of the police investigation.

The cast is quite impressive and includes Daniel Mays, Toby Jones, Katherine Kelly and Jack Deam.

The story begins with Wilma McCann's four young children waking up to find their mother missing.

After her body is found not far from her house, DCS Dennis Hoban takes charge of the investigation to try and catch her killer.

Meanwhile, across the city, Emily and Sydney Jackson's marriage is faltering in the face of financial hardship.
