High Fade are Harry Valentino (guitar/vocals), Oliver Sentance (bass), and Calvin Davidson (drums/vocals) and speaking about the new single, they say, "Fur Coat is one of our favourite tracks to play live. It's a fast paced, funky, screamer that everyone can sing along to."

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

We love a game of pool, big fan of the sea/beach and love a good coffee.

How would you describe your music?

We’d describe High Fade’s music as like Prog/Funk/Rock mixed with Disco, it’s really hard to say exactly what it is as we’re all influenced so heavily by so many bands!

Who are your musical inspirations?

Led Zeppelin, James Brown, Steely Dan, Paco De Lucia, Al Di Meola, Zakk Wylde, floating points, Mr G, Humble Pie, Free, Thin Lizzy, John Martyn, George Benson, Harvey Sutherland, Django Rheindhart, Bill Withers, The Doors.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

Phil Collins at the Armadillo in Glasgow!

What was the first record you ever bought?

The Doors - LA Woman.

What’s your favourite song right now?

Red Runner by Wayne Snow.

Favourite lyric of all time?

"The ocean is a desert with its life underground and a perfect disguise above" Horse With No Name - America.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Movement 6 - Floating Points and Pharoah Sanders with the London Symphony Orchestra.
