Tell us three things about yourself?

When I like a song, I'll loop it until the jamais vu kicks in. I operate best when under heaps of pressure/debilitating stress. I'm the son of a three-time Olympic athlete (so no pressure there).

How would you describe your music?

We've got such varied musical ideals that I reckon you'd get a different description from each member but at the end of the day, I think our goal is always to make it evocative, overall, and at the very least, fun.

Who are your musical inspirations?

Tom Waits, Talking Heads, Ween, George Clinton. It's often the artists that don't shy away from broadening their horizons. The ones who aren't afraid of getting a bit weird. We're standing on the shoulders of freaks.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

U2 at Croke Park (Vertigo tour).

What was the first record you ever bought?

Tenacious D.

What's your favourite song right now?

The Dripping Tap by King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard (I have the attention span of a puppy so when an 18-minute song gets its hooks into me, I know I'm onto something good).

Favourite lyric of all time?

"Boney's high on China white, Shorty found a punk, don't you know there ain't no devil, there's just god when he's drunk" (Heartattack and Vine - Tom Waits).

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Good Song - Blur. That song will always snap me out of a sulk.

Where can people find your music/more information?

All the usual streamers... Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube etc. And all the usual socials but primarily Instagram for updates.
