Dublin four-piece band The Scratch have released their new single, Blaggard, with their second album Mind Yourself set for release on 3 November. We asked Daniel Lang (cajon/vocals)) the BIG questions . . .

The Scratch are Daniel, Cathal McKenna, Jordan O'Leary and Conor Dockery. Formed in 2016, The Scratch rose to prominence following a performance at the annual Rory Gallagher festival which went viral. They released their debut album Couldn’t Give A Rats one month into the Covid lockdown in 2020,

Blaggard is the second advance offering from Mind Yourself, which was produced by James Vincent McMorrow.

This summer the band supported Boston-Irish act Dropkick Murphys across Europe while also performing at major European festivals including a performance at All Together Now in Co. Waterford.

They have also announced a tour across Ireland, the UK and Europe. More information here.

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I'm currently nursing a chest infection while watching Jordo (guitar/vocals) clean up the bin bag the fox tore to shreds, but things are actually looking up because Brian (our driver/tech) brought over some fresh beans.
