A throwaway comment from Sharon plays right into James' kidnap plans in Friday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
James and Zak are planning to kidnap Sharon so that they can extract a ransom from her daughter Hayley - now in the money after the sale of McCoy's.
The drama begins on Friday as James and Zak discuss the kidnap plan with an associate of Zak's, Bo.
"Once I'm paid half up front we can get the ball rolling," Bo says.
"You'll get your money when we get ours," says James.
"€15k now, the other half after," replies Bo.
Later, James talks to Sharon in the Hungry Pig about photos from Hayley's boat trip.
"I was green looking at them," says Sharon. "Some days you just want to disappear..."
