Galway "abstract garage band" Shark School play the Fall Right Into Place festival which takes place at Claregalway Castle from 16 September 17 September. We asked guitarist/vocalist Nora Staunton the BIG questions . . .

Tickets priced €36 plus booking fee and are on sale now from Fall Right Into Place and Strange Brew.

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

I like sharks, I love cats and cats love me and I very much enjoy to gaze upon the sky on a starry night.

How would you describe your music?

I would describe it as a sort of an abstract garage (without the rock) but WITH the roll, women plus one very lovely man.

Who are your musical inspirations?

This is such an impossible question for me not to name thousands of badass/inspirational artists, but to name a few I will say Girlfriend, Pretty Happy, Courtney Barnett, Sir Chloe and Mannequin Pussy JUST to name a few.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

The first proper gig I attended was a gig I was playing with my other band Puck. We were supporting a band from America called DaysnDaze. I entered my first mosh pit that night and haven't left since.

What was the first record you ever bought?

Heart Under by Just Mustard, I played it for days on end and just melted into their beautiful sound.

What's your favourite song right now?

As of right now my favourite song is Trust by Girlfriend, doin’ a lil slip jig streaming it right now.

Favourite lyric of all time?

"We fell in love in October/That’s why, I love fall/ Looking at the stars/Admiring from afar." It’s not too deep, but 'we fell in love in October by Girl in Red means a lot to me as a song and those lyrics hold such a special place in my heart.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO because then I would never be sad and only want to party.

Where can people find your music/more information?
