CMAT and The Coronas have both added extra dates to their winter gigs at the 3Olympia in Dublin.

Country pop star CMAT was already set to play the venue on 1 and 2 December, but with both of those gigs selling out, she has now added an extra show on Thursday 30 November.

The 27-year old singer-songwriter, whose full name is Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, is due to release her much-anticipated second album in October, titled Crazymad, For Me.

This is the follow-up from her 2022 chart-topping debut, If My Wife New I'd Be Dead, which won the RTÉ Choice Music Prize for album of the year.

CMAT's star has been on the rise since she first released music in 2020

Meanwhile, pop stalwarts The Coronas have added two further 3Olympia gigs on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 December, adding to their previously announced shows on 16 and 17 December.

The Dublin trio have been making music together since they met in secondary school in the early 2000s.

They released their seventh album, Time Stopped, last October, which went straight to number one in the Irish album charts.

Tickets for both gigs go on sale on Friday 8 September.
