The Script have been announced to perform on the final night of this year's Electric Picnic.
One week out from the festival, their Irish group's name now appears on promotional posters, underneath The Killers in the line-up for Sunday 3 September.
The festival posted the news on its social media on Friday, saying: "We're beyond excited to welcome @thescriptofficial to the Electric Picnic 'Hall of Fame’".
The band themselves posted: "IRELAND! We are playing @epfestival !! Beyond excited to perform back home again!"
This will be the group's first Irish gig since band co-founder, guitarist and songwriter Mark Sheehan died aged 46 in April, after a short illness.
At the time, the band posted a statement, saying: "Much loved husband, father, brother, band mate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away today in hospital after a brief illness."
"The family and group ask fans to respect their privacy at this tragic time."
Frontman Danny O'Donoghue, and drummer Glen Power have continued to perform since Sheehan's passing, saying on social media that Sheehan would have wanted them to keep going.
In recent weeks, they have supported Pink on the UK leg of her world tour.
The Script was formed in Dublin in 2001 and they have sold over 20 million albums, scoring huge hits with the likes of The Man Who Can't Be Moved, For The First Time, We Cry and Hall of Fame.
Electric Picnic takes place in Stradbally, Co Laois on Sept 1-3, and is sold out.
Tickets for the 2024 festival are already on sale, with the festival itself moving to the earlier dates of 16-18 August.
