Scott van-der-Sluis, a former footballer for Shelbourne FC in Dublin, is set for his second stint on Love Island this summer - this time on the US version.
In a teaser clip for the US version of the hit reality TV dating show, van-der-Sluis is seen introducing himself, saying: "I'm Scott, I'm 22, and I'm from Wales in the UK.
"I was in Love Island UK. I didn't find love, so I thought, 'Why not take it international?'"
Fellow contestant Kassy Castillo will be his first date, with the clip showing her receiving a text with an instruction to meet him outside the villa.
Recognising van-der-Sluis from the UK series, she exclaims: "Wait, stop. You're from the UK one?!"
The official Love Island USA Instagram posted a series of photos of the date, with the caption, "Now that's a bombshell".
The footballer's appearance on the show dispels rumours of a potential reunion with his former Love Island UK flame, Irish contestant Catherine Agbaje.
The footballer, who is a goalkeeper, quit Shelbourne FC to join the UK version of the show this summer, with head coach Damien Duff humourously. wishing him well in his decision, saying in a statement: "I was shocked and saddened that Scott chose a villa in Mallorca full of beautiful single women over myself, the staff and the players."
