There's brand-new reality show At Home with the Furys, a new set of famous faces on Celebrity MasterChef, new BBC dramedy The Bold Type, The Chosen Few, and a superb Will Smith in King Richard.

At Home with the Furys, Netflix

This looks like a real treat. And I'm someone who doesn't even like boxing.

The show offers exclusive access to the life of Tyson Fury, heavyweight champion of the world, as he exits the ring and tries to embrace retirement with his family including wife Paris, father John and his six children.

Alongside changing nappies and the school run, At Home with the Furys will see Tyson constantly looking for projects to keep him busy.

They range from a world tour to meet his fans, to lavish family holidays, encounters with other A-listers and impromptu family camping trips.

Celebrity MasterChef, 9.00pm, BBC One

Drag artist Cheryl Hole, actor and singer Jamelia (below), musician Locksmith, former glamour model (and pop star) Sam Fox and opera singer Wynne Evans compete in the penultimate week of heats.

Facing the Under the Cloche challenge, the celebrities are each given a different ingredient they must incorporate into a dish to demonstrate their potential to judges Greg Wallace and John Torode.

In a final attempt to impress, the contestants prepare their Dinner Party Dishes with hopes of not being the one person going home.

Annika, 9.00pm, Alibi

Available to stream on Sky

The always wonderful Nicola Walker in the lead role is the main reason for watching this Scottish cop show. Her character's use of the fourth wall is its best feature.

As season two continues, the MHU are sent to Edinburgh to investigate the death of a recently released prisoner whose body is pulled out of the Forth River, imprisoned in a dog cage.

Janis, 10.30pm, TG4

Here’s one for all the hippies and Sixties aficionados out there.

It’s a documentary about the life of ill-fated Sixties rock singer Janis Joplin, including concert footage and interviews with members of her band Big Brother and the Holding Company.

King Richard, 9.35pm, RTÉ One

Starring an Oscar-winning Will Smith alongside Aunjanue Ellis, Jon Bernthal, Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton, this is a cracking biopic.

It's a drama following the journey of tennis players Venus and Serena Williams, as their ambitious father Richard coaches them into global superstars.

Training on Compton, California's neglected courts - rain or shine - the girls are shaped by Richard's unyielding commitment and their mother Brandy's balanced perspective and keen intuition.

The girls end up defying the seemingly insurmountable odds and prevailing expectations laid before them.

New or Returning Shows

The Bold Type, 9.00pm, BBC Three

This comedy drama from Showmax follows three friends who work for a leading women's magazine.

It stars Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee and Meghann Fahy - who you might recall from season two of The White Lotus.

Jane is unsettled after being asked to write a story about why her ex broke up with her and Kat's connection to an outspoken photographer confuses her.

Colosseum, 9.00pm, BBC Four

Drama-documentary that uses the Colosseum to tell the thrilling story of the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, through the lens of the men and women who fought and died there.

Featuring interviews with leading historians, the episode uses striking re-enactments and special effects to infuse excitement into the personal narrative of each character.

In episode two at 9.50pm, when master builder Haterius constructs the Colosseum from the ashes of Nero's Golden House, his work is far from over.

New Emperor Domitian tasks him with adding in a complex network of underground tunnels - the hypogeum

I, Claudius, 10.50pm, BBC Four

Acclaimed 1970s' drama set amidst a web of power, corruption and lies, chronicling the reigns of the Roman emperors - Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula and finally Claudius - focusing on the intrigue that surrounded their respective reigns.

In the opening episode, Augustus's wife Livia schemes to ensure her son Tiberius succeeds her husband.

The dispute between Marcus Agrippa and Marcellus reaches boiling point, prompting the former to leave Rome for the East.

With Derek Jacobi, Sian Phillips, Brian Blessed and George Baker.

Preceded at 10.35pm by Sir Derek Jacobi Remembers - I, Claudius, where the veteran actor looks back at the 1970s’ drama.

New to Stream

The Chosen One, Netflix

This is certainly a fresh take on the Gospels as it follows Jesus as he gathers his disciples, heals the needy and sacrifices himself for the sake of humanity.

It’s not what you might expect, as this is a modern teen drama adapted from Mark Miller’s American Jesus series about a twelve-year-old boy who discovers he's the returned Jesus Christ.

The Girl from Plainville, 10.00pm, Channel 4

Available to stream on All4

The Hulu drama based on true events starring Elle Fanning, Chloë Sevigny, and Colton Ryan concludes with a double episode.

The defence hopes the testimony of Dr Breggin will clinch Michelle's acquittal, Co struggles with regret, and Coco relies on Michelle to manoeuvre through his suicidal ideations.

Michelle is still haunted by the past, and the verdict is read.

In the final episode at 11pm, Coco's last day unfolds, Michelle struggles with the future, and the Carters and Roys both try to find closure after the tragedy.
