Dáithí Ó Sé and Kathryn Thomas have officially launched the Rose of Tralee International Festival 2023, which will see 32 roses from around the world compete for the coveted title.
The five-day Rose of Tralee International Festival, which kicks off on Friday, is one of Ireland's oldest and largest festivals.
Thomas and Ó Sé will make history as the first-ever joint presenters of RTÉ's coverage of the festival, broadcasting live from the Kerry Sports Academy at the Munster Technological University (MTU) on 21 and 22 August on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
32 Roses take part this year from across Ireland as well as around the world, including Australia, the UK, the US, Canada and New Zealand. Each Rose has their own story to tell with all sorts of jobs and backgrounds represented, from cops and GAA referees to farmers and firefighters.

This year will mark Ó Sé's 12th year presenting the show, and Thomas says she can’t wait to join him onstage.
Speaking at today's launch event, she said: "What a way to kick off the week, celebrating our 32 Roses - an incredibly accomplished and inspiring group of women. We can't wait to make our way to Tralee!"
Ó Sé added: "Tá mé beannaithe i measc na mban! The Rose of Tralee tour is in full swing and it's been a pleasure to meet and get to know this year’s Roses. Next stop the Kingdom!"
The Rose of Tralee will be available to watch for free, live and on-demand by audiences in Ireland and around the world on RTÉ Player.
You can watch The Rose of Tralee International Festival 2023 on 21 and 22 August on RTÉ One from 8pm.
