Tipperary indie pop artist Andrew Smyth aka smythy has released Figure It Out, the second single from his debut EP Where You're From, which is out this October.. We asked him the BIG questions . . .
Speaking about the new track, he says, "Figure It Out is a sort of anthem for people in their mid to late twenties who are only now realising that their life is theirs to live. It's about getting older and the anxieties that come with having to decide what kind of person you’re going to be.

"Sometimes it can feel like there’s a perfect way to live one's life and that can be daunting and lead to decision paralysis which is something I’ve struggled with a lot in my life.
"This track is probably one of my favourites and has helped me understand what direction I want my life to go in."
Tell us three things about yourself...
I have ADHD. I learned the flags of every country once and have now forgotten them all. I’m a very good whistler.
How would you describe your music?
I would describe my music as alternative indie pop. I like writing catchy fun tunes about sad scary things. Sometimes there’s synths.
