Here's a fine slice of Irish cinema, a drama starring Cosmo Jarvis, Barry Keoghan and Niamh Algar with Joe Murtagh’s screenplay made real by first-time feature director Nick Rowland.

Definitely more filling a Kin void rather than a Call the Midwife one, this is tough Sunday night viewing, good and all that it is.
