Sinéad O'Connor's music makes dramatic return to Irish charts

Following her death last week, Sinead OConnor's music has made a return to the Irish charts, with her best of album leaping a dramatic 71 places to hit the Top 5 in the new album countdown.

Her debut album, 1987’s The Lion and Cobra, has also re-entered the album chart at No 23, while her breakthrough album I Do Not Want What I haven’t Got hits No 28.

Meanwhile, on the singles chart, Sinéad’s global hit Nothing Compares 2 U moves thirty places from No 37 to No 7 and her third single Mandinka is new at No 15.
