EastEnders star Patsy Kensit has split from fiancé Patric Cassidy.

The actress went public with their engagement in February via an Instagram post showing the proposal.

A photo showed the couple on a beach, with Cassidy on one knee, and rose petals on the sand in a heart formation around the pair.

A spokesperson for Kensit told The Sun: "I can confirm they have split, and would appreciate that she is given her privacy regarding the matter. She is currently very busy working."
