Actors Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello have announced that they are divorcing after almost eight years of marriage.
In a statement to the New York Post's PageSix website, the stars said: "We have made the difficult decision to divorce.
"As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives."
Modern Family's Vergara and True Blood's Manganiello married in November 2015 in Palm Beach, Florida.
Vergara has an adult son from her first marriage, which ended in divorce in 1993.
