Writer and musician Eamon Carr has dedicated his latest poetry collection to his late friend and fellow member of Horslips Johnny Fean.
Fean, who played guitar for the acclaimed Celtic rock band, passed away last April.
Foundation Song is launched later this month and according to publishers Revival Press, the poetry imprint of the Limerick Writers' Centre, the new collection "delves into the profound themes of displacement, loss, and isolation, all while discovering a glimmer of hope that resonates on both universal and personal levels."
Foundation Song will be launched at Ruby's Cocktail Bar, Ciss Maddens on Drury St., Dublin on Thursday 20 July at 6.00pm.
Carr, the drummer with Horslips, has previously published the poetry books The Origami Crow, Deirdre Unforgiven: A Journal of Sorrow (Doire Press), DUSK, a verse drama premiered in the GPO and the short verse drama film, CúChulainn Awakes.
