Dublin duo Driven Snow have released the video for new song In Moonlight - watch it here.
The fourth song to date from the band made up of Kieran from Delorentos and Emily formerly of Republic of Loose tackles the challenges of making a living as an artist a land "where the housing crisis threatens the life and spirit of its cities".
"It is about the difficulty of being a musician in the city," they say. "The feeling that you have to sacrifice, beyond what's reasonable, just to survive."
Behind the music - Driven Snow
Kieran and Emily worked away quietly on a collaborative musical venture for a number of years before decamping (with children, grandparents, and all) to Donegal and take their musical sketches up to Tommy McLaughlin’s Attica Studios (Villagers, SOAK, Pillow Queens).
Their Influences include Neil Young, Beach House, Cat Power, Scandinavian TV shows and fireside beers.
Having played their first live shows earlier this year, Driven Snow will be going back out on the road over the summer.
