A Strictly Come Dancing star, an original Inbetweener and a Black Eyed Pea are among the famous faces announced for the upcoming series of UK Celebrity MasterChef.

Strictly professional Dianne Buswell, The Inbetweeners actor James Buckley and Black Eyed Peas rapper apl.de.Ap are among a new batch of celebrities in the latest series of the popular cookery competition, set to return to BBC this summer.

The show will see presenters John Torode and Gregg Wallace put 20 stars of the screen and stage through six weeks of challenges as they vie to be crowned champion of the series.

Presenter, podcaster and model Lisa Snowdon won the show last year.

Reality TV show Love Island will be well represented in the line-up, with former contestants Dani Dyer and Luca Bish both taking part.

Luca Bish was a controversial figure from the 2022 summer series of Love Island, but ended up in the runner-up position with then-girlfriend Gemma Owen

Other contestants include The Wanted singer Max George, Robin Hood actor Michael Praed, Gogglebox star Mica Ven and former and Rudimental bandmate Locksmith.

Pop star Jamelia, well-known to Irish viewers from her time as a coach on The Voice of Ireland, will also take part.

TV and radio personality Richie Anderson, British entertainer Dave Benson Phillips, broadcaster Terry Christian, and comedians Marcus Brigstocke and Shazia Mirza will also appear on the show.

Completing the line-up are opera singer Wynne Evans, Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh, RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Cheryl Hole, radio broadcaster Remi Burgz and former glamour model Sam Fox.

The first episode of each heat will see five celebrities take on the returning Under The Cloche challenge, before creating a two-course dinner party menu of their design.

Returning challenges also include Dinner Party Dish and Nostalgia Dish, while a brand-new Celebrity Food Truck challenge awaits the 2023 contestants.

The top eight celebrities will face the semi and final week stages, which is set to include Chef’s Table and a new challenge titled Hunter Gather Cook.
