The documentary delves into the haunting influence that images of ancient, human sacrificial bodies excavated in Danish and Irish bogs had on Heaney.

It also examines the present day in the boglands, hearing from locals most affected by legislative changes and turf bans.

New to Stream

Black Mirror, Netflix

The Emmy-winning anthology series has taken viewers on the most unsettling journeys over the past five seasons, but the latest instalment promises to be the most unpredictable yet.

With five brand-new episodes, creator Charlie Brooker is hoping to take the series to a whole new level.

On a personal level, I'd just like welcome Selma Hayek back to my sitting room.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Paramount+

This is the 11th Star Trek series, part of Kurtzman's expanded Star Trek Universe. That's enough shows to start a football team.

A spin-off from Star Trek: Discovery, it follows Captain Christopher Pike and the crew of the starship USS Enterprise as they explore new worlds throughout the galaxy during the decade before Star Trek: The Original Series.

Apparently it has a contemporary take on that series' episodic storytelling and 1960s' designs, and features an opening narration that should be familiar to many.

'Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before.'
