Lucy Kennedy is among the guests on Angela Scanlon's Ask Me Anything this Saturday and admits: "I would like to marry Twink!"

Angela Scanlon is back on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player with the fifth episode of this run of her show after a week's break because of the Eurovision Song Contest.

It’s the show which sees Angela get rather personal with stars of stand-up comedy, TV and entertainment.

First up is Ballydung Baroness Lucy Kennedy. The presenter talks rooting around in drawers, voicemails from Twink, ruffling Enda Kenny’s tie and lets us in on what happened to Michael Jackson’s monkey.

"I am obsessed with Twink," she tells Angela. "We will marry! I just love her, I love Twink! I've always loved her, I always will. She leaves me voicemails that go on for weeks. I love everything about her as a person.

"On a more serious note, other than the fact that she’s such good craic, she’s full of stories and she’s really good company. When I’ve had kind of good days and bad days as we all do in life, she always picks up the phone! She’s a good person!

"So yes, I would like to marry Twink!"

Gyles Brandreth

Broadcaster, writer, and former politician Gyles Brandreth is next on the couch with Angela and Lucy. He divulges on his ambitions to be Pope, being on the Late Late Toy Show with Gay Byrne, sparkling tea and why his wife watches him on the telly with the sound turned down.

Recalling his last time on Irish TV he told Angela: "It's lovely to be back because the last time I was here, was for another programme, The Late Late Toy Show, I was in for the show with Gay Byrne 50 years ago!

"It clearly went well because half a century later RTÉ have invited me back!"

Gearóid Farrelly

Closing out the night is funny man Gearóid Farrelly, who talks travel kettles, cat toilet training and reveals the name of his mam’s favourite comedian. He also recalled his introduction to football.

"My dad said if I was going to find football, I could find it myself," he told Angela. "Well I think he can admit that that was a massive regret! One of the neighbours enrolled me in Home Farm's Mini League.

"My dad would come to every single match, and he would be standing on the side line as I would literally be saying 'Which way am I kicking!?' . . . I was terrible!

"Eventually I ended up in goals, it wasn’t great! That was the last time I ever played football because I actually let in a crucial goal because I was making a daisy chain!"
