Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final 2023, 8.00pm, RTÉ One

Graham Norton (below), Hannah Waddingham, Alesha Dixon and Julia Sanina present the 67th edition of the competition from the Liverpool Arena, with Eurovision stalwart Marty Whelan commentating on proceedings.

Once again, Ireland failed to make it to the final, as Wild Youth fell at Tuesday night’s first hurdle. Still, the Eurovision has legions of fans who will no doubt make a night of it.

Accompanied by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, some legends of Eurovision, including Johnny Logan, Linda Martin, Niamh Kavanagh, Paul Harrington, Charlie McGettigan, and Eimear Quinn perform in front of a live audience in an evening of Eurovision celebrations hosted by – who else? - Marty Whelan.

The RTÉ Concert Orchestra performs under Stephen Bell as Principal Guest Conductor.

Inspector Montalbano, 9.00pm, BBC Four

Feature-length final episode of the much-loved Italian crime drama about a Sicilian cop who spends as much time admiring his food as figuring out the solution to the latest murder.

This last time around, Montalbano grapples with the murder of the leader of an amateur dramatics company whose peculiar take on theatre borders on fanaticism.

His assailant stabbed him in the chest, but without leaving a trace of blood. Might the key to discovering the identity of the killer be bound up in Catalanotti's disturbing conception of the stage?

The Bermuda Triangle: Beneath the Waves, 11.0pm, BBC Four

Bruce Denardo explores the legend of the region where many planes and ships have disappeared in mysterious circumstances.

Using a state-of-the-art submarine, Graham Hawkes reveals how five wrecks ended up 730ft down in the heart of the deadly expanse of water.

Mrs Harris Goes to Paris, Sky Cinema & NOW

Starring Lesley Manville, Isaballe Huppert, Jason Isaacs, Anna Chancellor, Lambert Wilson, and Alba Baptista.

In partnership with the House of Dior, Mrs Harris Goes To Paris tells the story of a widowed cleaning lady in 1950s London who falls madly in love with a couture Dior dress and decides that she must have one of her own.

After she works, starves, and gambles to raise the funds to pursue her dream, she embarks on an adventure to Paris which will change not only her own outlook, but the very future of the House of Dior.

Peter Weir's hugely popular drama, starring Robin Williams, Robert Sean Leonard, Ethan Hawke, Josh Charles and Gale Hansen.

A charismatic English teacher at a New England prep school in the 1950s raises eyebrows among his strait-laced colleagues by encouraging the students to live life beyond their expectations.

Unfortunately, the boys find their families and the rest of the teaching staff are not so understanding about their desire to follow their dreams.

Far from the Madding Crowd, 8.00pm, BBC Two

Period drama based on Thomas Hardy's novel, starring Carey Mulligan, Matthias Schoenaerts, Tom Sturridge and Michael Sheen.

A headstrong Victorian woman inherits a sheep farm in a remote area of Dorset.

She struggles to maintain her independence while being courted by three very different men - a stoic farmer, a dashing, reckless soldier and a lonely older man.

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, 9.00pm, Channel 4

Director Edward Zwick's blockbusting action thriller sequel based on Lee Child's novel, starring Tom Cruise, Cobie Smulders, Danika Yarosh and Aldis Hodge.

The nomadic vigilante tries to save an army major who has been framed for murder and treason.

Jack Reacher discovers that Turner has been targeted by a secret government conspiracy, and together they go on the run to expose the truth.

Family Flick

The Goonies, 3.40pm, RTÉ One

Fun family adventure, starring Sean Astin, Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin and Martha Plimpton.

Seven youngsters discover an old map and set out on the adventure of a lifetime to save their homes from a land developer by finding a legendary pirate's hidden treasure.

But they first have to navigate a series of booby-trapped underground caverns and outwit a family of crooks also after the loot.
