Irish Oscar nominee Kerry Condon is to star opposite Brad Pitt in his new Formula 1 movie.
Entertainment trade publication The Hollywood Reporter says that the Apple Studios film will be directed by Top Gun: Maverick's Joseph Kosinski and produced by Top Gun's Jerry Bruckheimer.
Pitt will play a former racing driver who gets back behind the wheel.
The Banshees of Inisherin's Condon will play the team's technical director.
It has been reported that Pitt will drive at this year's British Grand Prix to film scenes for the movie.
The Press Association has said that it understands the 59-year-old Hollywood star will race an adapted Formula 2 car at Silverstone during the weekend of the Grand Prix, which takes place on 9 July.
