It is reported that screen icon Clint Eastwood is planning to direct the About a Boy duo of Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette in a thriller called Juror #2.
US entertainment trade publication Deadline says Hoult and Collette are in negotiations to work with 92-year-old director Eastwood.
Deadline says Juror #2 is "set during a murder trial where one of the jurors slowly realises he killed the victim in a reckless driving accident and tries to save the defendant without incriminating himself".
Hoult is in negotiations to play the juror, and Collette is in negotiations to play the district attorney.
Eastwood's most-recent film as director was 2021's Cry Macho, in which he also starred.
