Legendary soul singer Gladys Knight has confirmed a concert at Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre on Saturday 3rd June 2023 as part of her Farewell Tour.
Tickets for the show will go on sale from www.ticketmaster.ie at 9am this Friday April 7.
One of the greatest-ever soul singers, the seven-time Grammy winner has enjoyed No 1 hits in Pop, Gospel, R&B and Adult Contemporary, and has triumphed in film, television, and live performance.
Gladys Knight & The Pips debuted their first album in 1960, when Knight was just sixteen. Throughout the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s they enjoyed hits such as Every Beat of My Heart, Best Thing to Ever Happen to Me, Midnight Train to Georgia and Baby Don't Change Your Mind.
In 1995, Knight earned her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the next year, Gladys Knight & The Pips were inducted into the Rock 'N’ Roll Hall of Fame.
Then in 1998, she and The Pips were presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame. In 2004, Knight received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual BET Awards ceremony.
