Meath indie rockers InBetween Honey have released their debut EP, Ludlow Street. We asked them the BIG questions . . .
InBetween are school friends Dylan Hickey, brothers Matty and JohnPaul Melady, Blayne Moran and Darragh Muldoon, who met in O'Carolan College, Nobber and formed in June 2019 in Gibstown, Co. Meath.
They have played Whelan’s, The Workmans Club and Electric Picnic in 2019.
Tell us three things about yourself . . .
We're five friends who live and breathe music. We all work full time jobs or are currently studying. Dylan, Matty and JohnPaul first played music live together in O'Carolan College, Nobber in 2015 for the annual talent show where all five members met.
How would you describe your music?
Big sounding indie rock anthems with a 90s guitar sound with an 80s sounding synth wrote for moving and singing along to and built for stadiums and the customary festival crowd in a field!
Who are your Musical Inspirations?
Dylan - The Beatles and U2.
Matty - Oasis, Foo Fighters and The Killers.
JohnPaul - Everything Manchester music, Tom Petty, Mark Knopfler, John Lennon, AC/DC, and Irish folk music.
Darragh - George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Townes Van Zandt, Nick Cave, Brian Robertson, and Phil Lynott.
Blayne - Metallica, Slipknot and Thin Lizzy.

Dylan - All Time Low.
