Ireland v England (Kick-off 5.00pm), with a fourth Grand Slam on offer for the Irish after winning their previous four games in this year’s Six Nations.

All the action from the final match of this year's championship, held at Aviva Stadium.

Ireland claimed an impressive 32-15 win at Twickenham in last year's competition and will fancy their chances of another victory this evening after enjoying a strong campaign so far.

Carole King & James Taylor: Live at the Troubadour, 11.55pm, TG4

Here’s one for the folks who used to sit cross-legged in groups and listen to albums.

It’s a reunion concert recorded in 2007 at the West Hollywood venue where King and Taylor first appeared as fledgling singers in November 1970.

They perform a variety of their most popular numbers backed by the Section, the same band that featured on their albums Tapestry and Sweet Baby James almost four decades previously.

New or Returning Shows

Chaka Khan at the BBC, 8.50pm, BBC Two

This opens a night of programming around female soul singers.

A selection of appearance by the American singer Chaka Khan (below) on the BBC over the course of five decades, featuring her number one hit I Feel For You, as well as I'm Every Woman and Ain't Nobody from her days fronting Rufus.

Followed at 9.30pm by Aretha Franklin: Duets, where she sings with the likes of Elton John, Gloria Estefan, Smokey Robinson, PM Dawn, Bonnie Raitt and Rod Stewart.

Then it’s Randy Crawford at Drury Lane (10.20pm), a 1981 concert at the Theatre Royal in London's West End by the American jazz and R&B singer, whose hits include One Day I'll Fly Away and You Might Need Somebody.

The night ends with Queens of Soul at 11.30pm, a compilation of archive footage featuring Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack, Gladys Knight, Randy Crawford, Angie Stone, Mary J Blige and Beyonce.
