Sister and brother indie folk duo Paper Tides have released their new EP and the single, Home. We asked them the BIG questions . . .

Odhran Murphy and Sionán Hanratty have played the Celtic Festival 2022 in Vancouver Canada and opened for The Coronas, Hermitage Green, Ryan McMullan, Little Green Cars, and Dean Lewis.

This year, they are confirmed to play Kaleidoscope, Sea Sessions, Electric Picnic, Live at the Square and Dalidria Festival in Antrim.

Tell us three things about yourself . . .

We are a brother and sister duo. We both work in a school. We are fluent in Irish.

How would you describe your music?

Indie folk!

Who are your musical inspirations?

The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Smith & Thell, First Aid Kit, The East Pointers.

What was the first gig you ever went to?

Passenger - you know, the guy who sings Let Her Go?

What was the first record you ever bought?

Westlife - World of Our Own.

What's your favourite song right now?

We have both been loving our new EP, especially our new single Home. Hopefully everyone else does to!

Favourite lyric of all time?

'Cause you can't find peace like this in a bottle or a pill"- Larry Fleet.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Light Bright - The East Pointers.
