Limerick pop singer Abe Soare has released her new song, Oasis. We asked Abe the BIG questions . . .
Formerly known as Abby Butler, the 23-year-old is influenced by singer songwriters such as Emma Langford and Wallis Bird and won the Live 95fm Local Hero award 2021 and was shortlisted to one of the 25 acts around the country.
Oasis was written during a difficult time in Abe's life with struggles with depression, identity confusion, and low self-esteem.
Speaking of the song, Abe says "I hope Oasis reaches someone else who feels lost and reminds them that it is ok not to have all the answers. To remind them they are doing their best and that they are stronger than they ever thought they could be."

I love meditation, my favourite food is burgers, I am obsessed with miniature objects.
How would you describe your music?
Honest, heartfelt, and hooky.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Wallis Bird, Bon Iver and Newton Faulkner.
What was the first gig you ever went to?
Ed Sheeran.
What was the first record you ever bought?
Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad.
