The Dangerous Rise of Andrew Tate, 10.00pm, BBC Three

Here’s what monetized toxic masculinity looks like.

This film has been years in the making, tracking the rise of Andrew Tate through the meteoric growth of his online following.

Invited into Tate’s compound in Romania, where he was recently arrested, journalist Matt Shea enters the world of the social media personality’s multi-level marketing scheme and webcam business.

The film-makers question Tate, challenging him on his stance regarding the treatment of women, which has become a central aspect of his personal brand as well as business practices.

Matt Shea meets two women who reported Andrew Tate to UK police in 2015, alleging sexual assault and physical abuse at the time – allegations he strongly denied.

This documentary offers one of the first public platforms for these women to tell their stories.

Here’s a tasty repeat of last year’s Champions League final as Liverpool host Real Madrid (KO 8pm).

Meanwhile, the Macfarlane twins find out how modern life is bad for microbes and attend a gut-guided yoga class.

Ukraine's War Diaries, 9.00pm, BBC One

Panorama follows the lives of five Ukrainians during the war with Russia over the last year.

They include a paramedic on the frontline, a wedding-turned-war photographer, a TV presenter who rescues civilians under fire, a 19-year-old army volunteer and a young couple whose home town has now been occupied by Russian forces.

This personal and powerful documentary marks the first anniversary of the war.

New or Returning Shows

Long Lost Family, 9.00pm, Virgin Media One

Davina McCall (below) and Nicky Campbell return to tell some more incredible stories of people desperate to find missing family and answer questions that have haunted entire lives.

This opening episode features two stories of children searching for their birth mothers after life-changing events.

There’s former Scotland footballer Dominic Matteo, who started to search after suffering a life-threatening brain tumour, and a woman, pained with emotion on her wedding day because her birth mother was missing.

Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion, 10.00pm, Channel 4

Katie Price (below) is back for a second season and has her sights set on a five-room revamp of the top floor, turning it into her own little haven including a cinema room and a new bedroom.

Plus the star opens up about threats she has received on social media and a surprise is in store when she finds a giant wasp nest in her storage container.

The Equalizer, 9.00pm, Sky Witness

This season 3 opener of this Queen Latifah-starring show deals with the aftermath of McCall's abduction.

The walls between her family and vigilante life continue to crumble as those closest to her must come together for the first time to save her.

U-Boat Wargamers, 9.00pm, Sky History

Here’s a brand new six-part docu-drama that tells the story of the British women who helped defeat Germany and win the Battle of the Atlantic.

When WWII breaks out, an elite force of German U-boat commanders, under direct command of Vice-Admiral Karl Dönitz, attempt to starve Britain into submission by sinking hundreds of thousands of tonnes of their merchant shipping in the mid-Atlantic.

Vera Laughton Mathews (Julie Barclay) heads the newly reformed WRENS, and recruits bright, astute, and mathematically minded women into the service.

Meanwhile retired naval commander Gilbert Roberts, who has been out of the service, is keen to return to his career and use wargaming to sink the U-boats.

The live final, with plenty of country music in store. Voting continues and the show also promises some special guest performances.

Inside Our Autistic Minds, 9.00pm, BBC Two

The second of two documentaries in which Chris Packham helps people on the autism spectrum create short films that reveal what is really going on inside their minds.

He meets Anton, a teaching assistant and trance DJ with a deep love of Middlesbrough FC, and Ethan, a 19-year-old student and aspiring rapper from Essex.

He helps them make films to reveal to their friends and classmates how they feel about change and hypersensitivity to noise respectively.
