Stephanie Roche has become the latest star to be eliminated from Dancing with the Stars as she lost out in the first dance-off in the show's current run.
Stephanie and her dance partner Ervinas Merfeldas went up against Suzanne Jackson and Michael Danilczuk after the two couples had the lowest combined scores on the night.
Judges Arthur and Brian both voted to keep Suzanne and Michael, making Loraine's vote - she was also in favour of them staying - irrelevant and ending the Shamrock Rovers player's time on the show.
After the result, Stephanie praised Ervinas. "I want to thank this guy. He's been unbelievable. I came in as a pretty raw dancer and he's got me to the level I'm at tonight and he's been so patient at times. Just unbelievable."

Ervinas told Stephanie: "You've changed as a person from week one... I'm just proud of you for that."
Stephanie added: "The more you're in it, the more you want to get better, week on week. I feel like we've done that."
Earlier on, Shane Byrne and Karen Byrne opened the show with a sparkling Jive to Land of 1000 Dances by Vinnie Jones.
Jennifer was impressed, saying: "That's how you open a show!" But how did the judges view it?

Loraine reckoned it was "a fabulous opening" while Arthur told Shane: "jive also has a key ingredient - personalty - and you have that 100 billion per cent! I loved it"
Brian was "disappointed there wasn't a bit more technique" but is worried away ahead of the dance-off.
Afterwards, Shane said "That jive was for having fun - that's what we do."
Shane and Karen scored 20 points from the judges.
Next up, Suzanne Jackson and Michael Danilczuk danced a graceful American Smooth to I've Got You Under My Skin by Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga.

Arthur told Suzanne "this was you at your best" while Brian reckoned that "tonight is going to be very important night" for her adding that "there's a lot more still to come."
Loraine was also complimentary, describing the dance as "beautiful."
Suzanne said: "My favourite film is The real Gatsby and I always feel that dance is from that era."
Suzanne and Michael scored 25 points from the judges.
After a break, Shamrock Rovers star Stephanie Roche and her partner Ervinas Merfeldas danced a fun Samba to Con Calma by Daddy Yankee feat. Snow.

Brian saw the dance as "a big challenge" for Stephanie, but felt that it was "one of your better Latin dances".
"You definitely nailed all the steps," said Loraine, who felt Stephanie was "tremendous", while Arthur noted that Stephanie was "growing and improving - in your heels!"
A happy Stephanie said: "We wanted to give it everything and thankfully that came across."
Stephanie and Ervinas scored a total of 19 points.
Next up, 2FM Presenter Carl Mullan and Emily Barker took on a Tango with a twist this week with a rope added into the choreography. Sucker by the Jonas Brothers was the music track of choice for this dance.

Loraine was first to comment, saying: "Dancing with a prop can be a risk, but I believe tonight it came off . . . that was a great tango."
Arthur summed up the performance as "sexy" while Brian reckoned it was "not a bad tango."
"It was a tough week," Carl admitted afterwards. "But I did enjoy it."
Carl and Emily scored 24 points from the judges.
After the break, viewers were treated to a Salsa from Panti Bliss and Denys Samson, the one partnership under no pressure on this week's show.
Last week the couple scored immunity from tonight's first dance-off as they they topped the leader board during Dedicated Dance week. Tonight they danced to Stupid Love by Lady Gaga.

Arthur told Panti: "You were born to do salsa" and described the performance as "juicy."
"Panti Bliss, you discoed salsa," said Brian, while Loraine added: "you put the work in . . . so sail on."
Panti admitted that they felt under the same pressure as "you're on live television and you don't want to mess up. We worked as hard as we ever did."
Panti and Denys scored 22 points from the judges.
Comedian and actor Kevin McGahern along with his partner Laura Nolan took centre stage next with their playful Quickstep. They danced to Lust for Life by Iggy Pop.

"I still have those chicken arms," Kevin admitted afterwards.
Brian told them: "Kevin's killing quickstep," while Loraine said "You really went for it . . . you've set the bar extremely high for everyone else tonight."
Arthur was also complimentary of their performance. "That was a great quickstep," he said.
Kevin and Laura scored a total of 26 points from the judges.
After another break, singer Damian McGinty and Kylee Vincent had fun performing a Charleston. They danced to No Swinggity by Minimatic.

"That Charleston was quite quirky," Loraine noted, while Arthur told them: "What a lesson on how to do a Charleston . . . well done"
Brian found their dancing "loveable and goofy" and added: "I loved it!"
A very happy Damian said afterwards: "I'm shocked, because Monday through Thursday I was looking for a lot of help . . but that was so much fun."
Damian and Kylee scored 29 points to take the lead.
The final pair to perform on Sunday's show were singer Brooke Scullion and Robert Rowiński who danced a Jive to Lizzo's Am I Ready?

"The way you attacked that Jive to close that show was magnificent," Arthur reckoned, while Brian noted that Brooke is "starting to understand your posture a little more . . . it was a very good Jive."
Loraine told Brooke: "You have this sexy energy - but you reined it in tonight . . . that was excellent."
Afterwards Brooke - still struggling for breath - admitted: "The Jive has been so hard!"
Brooke and Robert scored 27 points from the judges.
And so to the dance-off!
While the voting lines were opened Doireann Garrihy spoke to all the celebrities before the professional dancers Tok to the floor with a traditional Paso Doble to Granada by Caterina Valente.
After another break, the judges gave their thoughts on all the performances before the results were announced.

Suzanne Jackson and Michael Danilczuk, along with Stephanie Roche and Ervinas Merfeldas, had the lowest combined score so each had to perform again.
After both couples performed the judges unanimously decided that Suzanne Jackson and Michael Danilczuk would stay and that Stephanie Roche and Ervinas Merfeldas were the couple that would leave the competition.
The eliminated couple will be interviewed on The Ryan Tubridy Show on RTÉ Radio 1 on Monday morning.
