Carol is left reeling on Friday's Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Carol's boyfriend Rafferty and her friend Sharon have been having an affair under Carol's nose - and on Friday Rafferty arrives at the Station to confess.
"Carol, we need to talk," he says.
"Yeah, I want to talk to you too," she replies.
"Look, this isn't really the place, can we just..." says Rafferty - just as Sharon walks in the door.
"Carol, Nora took a funny turn," says Sharon. "She collapsed, we had to call an ambulance."
