Knock at the Cabin: 'We were swinging for the fences'

Knock at the Cabin stars Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge reveal that the cast were 'swinging for the fences' during the intense filming of the apocalyptic psychological horror film.

Knock at the Cabin is literally the worst holiday nightmare you could ever imagine happening. A young girl and her family are on what is supposed to be an idyllic family getaway, but it soon turns into the unthinkable when they are taken hostage by four armed strangers and forced to make an impossible decision.

Sounds intense? Well, it is, and filming it was no different as stars Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge tell RTÉ Entertainment.

"It was very intense. The situation that we find ourselves in that cabin, in that very tiny little space, with seven people was very claustrophobic - and we were tied to chairs most of the time. The ensemble of the seven of us really went for it. We were swinging for the fences.

"We really wanted to make it as real as possible. we all surprised ourselves a little bit. when something is so heightened and extreme and seven people are locked in with that same level of commitment and intensity... it starts to feel real."
