Maître d' Mateo Saina is in charge - with help from barman Neil and waiters Alice and Pete - as the restaurant opens its doors once again for singletons looking for love over dinner.

This week's episode sees Dunith, originally from Sri Lanka and now living in Louth, meeting Nicole from Clare, and the pair get into a deep conversation about spirituality.

Meanwhile, hairdresser David arrives for a date with make-up artist and bingo fan Jordan, and 26-year-old Ciara from Armagh is set up with 27-year-old Conor from Wexford.

Apparently, this is the best episode of the series so far of the period drama, starring Emilia Schüle and Louis Cunningham.

Pity I gave up on this show last week. The missus remains loyal, though her main focus is on the clothes.

The king collapses, and on recovery, decides to grant du Barry status at court - as his queen. An official visit to Paris puts Louis and Antoinette on show.

In the Footsteps of Killers, 10.00pm, Channel 4

This week's episode is surprisingly current, despite covering a murder committed more than 40 years ago.

The case of eight-year-old Vishal Mehrotra, who vanished while in central London in July 1981 while watching the wedding parade of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spence (below).

Seven months later that his partial remains were discovered on an isolated farm in West Sussex.

Emilia Fox, Professor David Wilson and Dr Graham Hill revisit a case that despite several police reviews over the last 41 years, has yet to identify the killer or killers

Shoplifters, 2.20am, Channel 4

Here's a very late one, but one worth recording and having a look at your convenience. It's a Japanese drama from Hirokazu Kore-eda, who specialises in unorthodox family life.

THis film's no different, focusing on a poverty-stricken group living in Tokyo makes ends meet by shoplifting.

One night they take a troubled little girl under their wing, and when police start investigating her disappearance, the family attempts to hide her from the authorities.

This week Darragh visits a Rural Abattoir in Louth which has reopened after 20 years.

Helen travels to Waterford to meet David Currid as he takes delivery of 45,000 tomato plants from the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, Ella is in Kerry where she meets a dairy farmer and a sheep farmer trying to add value to the food they produce, while lowering their emissions.

The Apprentice, 9.00pm, BBC One

The remaining candidates are summoned to London's Regent Street Cinema for an exclusive screening.

Alan Sugar reveals they must create a new pre-school cartoon aimed at two-to-four-year-olds to pitch to industry experts.

Cat and Joe return to the woods to see if revisiting the scene of the crime can help jog his memory. Sharon is more desperate than ever for answers, but they might not be the ones she wants.
